My Not-So-Humble Abode :)

My pictures did not load in order...hah. This is my first Mandala! I only colored it in...don't get too excited! After working on a few I'll come up with my own design :)
This....is my closet! With kitty supplies :)

Our beach - this tiny version of this panorama doesn't do it justice!

Brent exploring the reef! Managaha Island, top right!

Yours truly.

I'm sitting under a coconut tree on a tropical island! YAY! :)

This much Bok Choy and then some cost only $1.

I don't remember the name of this fruit, but it's white, sweet, tangy and stringy! Best for juices :)

The vegetables for my soup! All of this only cost $1!

All my other food. Barley, Brown Rice, Quinoa, Couscous, Oats, Luna Bars, Raisins, Flour, Dandy Blend, Tea, Trail Mix, Grahamn Crackers, Ground Flax, and Spices! This stuff was more expensive.

Indeed.

My artsy corner number 1.

My dresser, complete with kitty toy = a stick with red flagging tied to it.

My artsy corner number 2! This is the next Mandala I want to work on :)

Almond Butter, Jam, Salsa, Almond Milk and Booze.

The final soup with all the veggies, curry and lentils added!

I have no idea how long it's going to take me to eat this.

All that Bok Choy + scrumptious sauce, other veggies, pine nuts and sesame seeds :)
So this is the NEW apartment, the one we will stay in for the rest of our time here! As you can see I've tried turning it into a home. I wanted to put posters on my walls (there are some awesome bird ones here and one on medicinal uses of local plants!) but the walls here hold NOTHING! I tried to use tacks....the wall is impenetrable. I tried using tape....the wall defies adherence!!!!!!! GAHH!! It was sad...I would think I had succeeded only to have posters fall on me in the middle of the night.

It's nice here :) Posh living compared to what I'm used to. Here's hoping I don't get too spoiled.

Cheers!
Erin
